Chris Austria Safaris Ltd is a unique East African expedition company based in Kampala, Uganda. We offer private, customized wildlife and cultural safaris in Uganda, and Rwanda. The firm was founded by Chris Austria, a photographer and wildlife expert originally from San Francisco, California. He is passionate about sharing the stunning beauty, culture, people, and wildlife from the Pearl Of Africa. Prior to moving to Uganda, Chris worked with tigers, lions, and other animals for many years in the U.S. His experiences from his career with the big cats inspired him to focus his energies towards wildlife conservation, and protecting endangered species.
When you reserve a trip with Chris Austria Safaris, Chris serves as your personal tour guide and “wildlife concierge”. When you travel with him, you learn about the incredible animals, as well as conservation and community development projects in Uganda. You have the opportunity to visit authentic communities, eat traditional Ugandan food, drink freshly brewed coffee, and experience the many vibrant cultures in Uganda. In addition to the immersive experiences, Chris specializes in photographic expeditions, and provides expert instruction that enables travelers to take stunning photography in the national parks of Uganda. Whether guests are seasoned professional photographers, or novices, they learn to take excellent photos out in the field.
Kidepo National Park is one of Uganda’s national treasures, and my favourite place in the world. This stunning wilderness area is located in the Karamoja region of northeast Uganda. Filming the incredible wildlife here is truly an epic experience for me. I am so incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to be around these magnificent creatures. The conservation of the precious wildlife on this Earth is of utmost importance. The music for this video was composed by DJ Celeste Lear. http://www.CelesteLear.com
This is a video that I filmed for Evelyn Nassuna, founder of Shared Action Africa. Her organization supports innovative financial solutions for women and youth in the rural areas of Uganda. Visit http://www.SharedAct.org. Music: DJ Celeste Lear
